Easy Weld - Blender addon

Easy Weld is a Blender addon that creates a procedural weld mesh between two selected objects using Geometry Nodes. It simplifies the process of adding realistic welds in Blender, providing flexibility and control over the welding effect. Whether you're working on mechanical models, hard surface designs, or sci-fi creations, Easy Weld offers a quick and easy way to apply a professional weld effect.

How to Use:

1. Download the ZIP FileDownload the Easy Weld addon ZIP file.
2. Install the Addon In Blender, go to Edit > Preferences >Add-ons. Click the Install button, select the `Easy_weld.zip` file, and click Install Add-on.

   

3. Activate the Addon After installation, the addon will appear in the N-panel under the Easy Weld tab.

   

   

4. Apply Weld - Select two meshes in your scene that you wish to apply the weld effect to. Click the Run button in the Easy Weld panel to automatically add the Geometry Nodes setup and the Weld material.

   

5. Add your mesh in the given input mesh. The weld mesh will be created between the two selected meshes, with all properties fully customizable via the Geometry Nodes modifier.

Features & Node Setup:

1. Input Mesh 1 : The first mesh that you want to weld. Select any mesh in your scene to use this as the first part of the weld setup.
2. Input Mesh 2 : The second mesh that you want to weld. Select another mesh in your scene to define the second part of the weld.
3. Subdivision of Weld : Control the smoothness of the weld by adjusting the subdivision level. Higher subdivision values will result in a finer weld mesh.
4. Density of Weld : The density of the weld determines how thick or sparse the weld lines are. You can adjust it to achieve a more subtle or more pronounced weld effect.
5. Radius of Weld : Adjusts the size of the weld effect. Larger values will increase the size of the welding area, while smaller values will focus the weld on a tighter area.

6. Noise in scale : It's adds random scale to and noise in radius of Weld mesh.
7. Roughness in noise : It adds Roughness in scale and create randomness
8. Noise in Weld : Adds random variation to the weld to make it more realistic. This simulates imperfections and irregularities often found in real-world welding.
9. Distortion in Noise for More Details : This control lets you fine-tune the distortion of the weld noise. It adds further complexity to the weld pattern, allowing for more variation in its appearance and feel.
10. Material for Weld : Assign a specific material to the weld. You can apply a unique weld material that matches your scene's aesthetics, whether it's a shiny metal, rusty, or any other custom shader.
